GENIE

Our lightest and most compact of all Metalian's trailers.
The Genie is the perfect companion for Jimny owners and those with a Code B license. Pack light and enjoy the freedom.

Base Model - Starting from R80 442.50

What's included in the base model?
The base model is un-braked and includes the main body of the trailer without a nosecone. There are 3 doors, one on each side, and one rear door. Both side doors have tops built into them, which provide access to the inside of the door. These are great for additional storage. 

The passenger side cupboard has shelving to compartmentalise the area, and access to the front pan of the trailer. The driver side door provides a narrow, but long storage area, which is used as the services panel (electrical and water installation) when those options are selected.

In the rear door, there is a large packing area, which is 1200mm long, 600mm wide, and 800mm deep.

The spare wheel is mounted on the rear door, which has a reinforced locking bar and hinges.

Tent Options

There are a few tent options for a Genie. 
If you have a tent that you would like to fit to a Genie, send us an email with the information, and we will let you know if it is possible.
 

  • Metalian Genie softshell trailer top tent

    • Soft cover tent with option to extend the fly sheet over the kitchen area and fit side walls. Designed to suit the footprint of the Genie.​

  • Metalian Hardshell​

    • Hard cover tent, available with an optional 270-degree awning to fit on the tent lid, and a wall set. Faster set-up than soft shell, but not as comprehensive.​

FAQ

Is the Genie the smallest Metalian trailer?
Yes, the Genie is our most compact off-road trailer, designed for lightweight towing and agile adventures.

What is the tare mass of the Genie?
Tare weight is between 450–500 kg depending on tent on a fully optioned unit.

What fridge size fits in the Genie?
The fridge compartment can accommodate 60L. We have a nosecone specifically to accommodate that size.

Can the Genie fit a rooftop tent?
Yes, it can accommodate a rooftop tent, though weight and balance must be considered.
